Regulations for the 3rd National College Public Welfare Dreamer Program

This program invites students from national public and private colleges and universities, including academic departments and officially recognized service-oriented student organizations, to propose public welfare projects based on the themes and scope announced by the organizers. Selected teams will execute their proposed projects, focusing on delivering public services to underprivileged communities in remote areas. After the project completion and final presentation, the organizers will award scholarships and grants to eligible departments or student organizations to encourage continuous commitment to public welfare initiatives.

The program is organized by the following foundations:

  • Cheng Xuan Social Welfare Foundation
  • Hetai Environmental Sustainability Foundation
  • Better Life Health Promotion Foundation

Eligibility

  1. University Departments: Departments in colleges and universities related to medicine, nursing, public health, social work, family studies, child development, environmental science, and other relevant disciplines organizing public welfare camps.
  2. Student Organizations: Officially recognized service-oriented student organizations from national public and private colleges and universities.

Total Award Fund – NT$800,000

Selection and Award Categories:

  • Excellence Award (2 teams) – NT$250,000 per team (scholarship & grant)
  • Outstanding Award (2 teams) – NT$100,000 per team (grant)
  • Merit Award (2 teams) – NT$50,000 per team (grant)

 

Program Timeline

  1. Proposal Submission: Now – March 15, 2025 (postmark deadline)

    • Download the application guidelines and submit the complete proposal via registered mail and email before the deadline.
  2. Proposal Evaluation: March 16 – April 11, 2025

  3. Announcement of Selected Teams: April 25, 2025

    • Results will be published on the official website and notified via official letters and email.
  4. Confirmation of Participation: May 1 – May 15, 2025

    • Selected teams must confirm participation within this period; failure to reply will be considered as withdrawal.
  5. Discussion Meetings for Selected Teams: May 19 – May 30, 2025

    • Flexible meetings to confirm project progress.
  6. Implementation Period: June – August 2025

    • Each selected team must conduct a 5–7 day public welfare service project.
  7. Final Report and Presentation: September 3, 2025

    • Teams will present a 15–30 minute summary of their project experiences and outcomes.
